OptiFiber integrates insertion loss and fibre length measurement, OTDR analysis and fibre connector end-face imaging to provide a higher tier of fibre certification and diagnostics. OptiFiber enables contractors and private network owners of all experience levels to certify fibre to industry and customer specifications, troubleshoot short-haul connection-rich links and thoroughly document their results.

FiberInspector™ Pro – Professional video microscope enables end-face inspection inside ports and on patch cords with dual-magnification probe and large portable screen.

FiberInspector™ Pro is used to examine installed fibre terminations or ensure terminations are smooth and clean. Avoid the #1cause of cause of fibre link failure: dirty end-faces.
Dirt, dust and other contaminants are the enemy of high-speed data transmission over optical fibre. Today’s network applications require more bandwidth, making loss budgets tighter than ever. It is critical that all optical connections are clean and free of contaminants to ensure application success.
Its dual magnification probe allows for both a wide field of view on the ferule and very close inspection of the fibre itself. Crisp, clear images from the probe are displayed on a large 3.5” display. With a range of standard and accessory probe tips, end-faces can be inspected when using many different connector types, including LC and MTP/MPO connectors.

We submit premise & network cabling project test results in Fluke Networks LinkWare and PDF format. This means that, to view or work with your test results, it is not necessary to purchase expensive OTDR software. Fluke LinkWare is free to download. Furthermore, most premise cabling contractors are already familiar with this software.  We can compile all Insertion Loss, OTDR and End-Face Analysis results into one test report for each fibre core. This saves the confusion of having in excess of 10 reports for each fibre optic core, which can be very messy and confusing.

Optical Fibre Identifiers – The FID-20R is a handheld instrument for detecting optical signals with no interruption to signal transmission.  It is lightweight, robust and accurate.
